Pie dough with apples.


Share with you one of my favourite Apple pies, long-tested, we can say, family recipe. Pie is amazing! In a delicious cheese pastry hiding halves of baked apples, stuffing in which you can change according to their taste preferences.

You will need:

Flour (amount of flour depends on the humidity of cottage cheese) — 2,5 stack.
Butter — 250 g
Cottage cheese — 200 g
Sugar — 2/3 Cup.
Vanilla sugar — 1 package.
The leaven — 1 tsp.
Apple (the number depends on the size of apples and shapes) — 6 PCs
The Mandarin slices (or dates, dried apricots, walnuts, prunes, butterscotch…the number of halved apples) — 12 PCs

How to cook:

1. Beat sugar with softened butter, add cream cheese, mix well. Add the flour, sifted together with the baking powder and vanilla sugar, knead the dough. Even if it turns out not too elastic, but not stick to hands and well rolled. Wrap the dough in cling film and put for half an hour in the cold. Flour may need a little less or more – it depends on the humidity of cottage cheese.

2. Wash the apples, peel, remove seed pods, cut in half. In the center of each Apple put the filling. How many times have baked this cake and never again! Stuffing can serve as dates, pitted, dried apricots, prunes, half a walnut, and even butterscotch type Cows! This time I came to hand the tangerines, they went to work)) And you can even make cuts and play a guessing game)

3. Divide the dough into two parts, one to roll and put into pan to form small ledges. On the dough put half of the stuffing apples down, sprinkle with cinnamon apples, if apples are very sour – sprinkle with sugar. The size of my forms – 20×30 cm

4. The second part of the test roll out and put on the apples, edges stung, top grease yolk. Bake for 40-60 minutes at T 180C.

Ready cake sprinkle with powdered sugar. Delicious warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! The apples become soft, like a thick jam + cinnamon + your chosen filling and all in a crisp cheese pastry… mmm… pleasure!
