Pasta with tomatoes, basil and garlic


450 g cherry tomatoes
3 tablespoons olive oil
Half red onion, finely chop
1 tablespoon garlic in oil
1 tablespoon chopped thyme
1 tablespoon chopped oregano
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon sugar
450 grams of noodles or spaghetti
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Pour into the pan all the spices and herbs and cook until the garlic begins to turn golden brown, then add the tomatoes and sugar. Mix well. Reduce heat and continue to keep the fire. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente state. Drain the pasta and place it to the sauce. Add the pasta to the cheese and chopped basil. Mix well and serve.pasta-with-tomatoes-basil-and-garlic
