Chicken Chili or «Chili con carne»
Ingredients:
— 4 slices of loaf
— 1 large onion
— 3 cloves of garlic
— 3 chicken breasts
— 1 teaspoon paprika
— 1 teaspoon ground cumin
— 1 teaspoon onion powder
— ½ teaspoon garlic powder
— ½ teaspoon paprika
— 6 cups chicken broth (2 liters)
— 900 g tomatoes
— 450g canned white beans
— 2 hot green chili peppers
— Salt and pepper to taste
— ½ cup grated cheese all
— ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
Cooking method:
1) finely chopped bacon
2) Onions cut into cubes
3) Tomatoes pour over boiling water and remove the skin, cut into cubes
4) Chicken breast roast in a pan or in the oven, cut into small piece
5) Fry the bacon for 2-3 minutes
6) Add the onion and cook over low heat until soft and golden brown for about 15 minutes
7) Add squeezed garlic and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes to extinguish
8) Add the chicken, paprika, cumin, onion and garlic powder, red pepper, salt and black pepper -tushit 10 minutes
9) Add the chicken broth, canned white beans, cut into cubes tomatoes, chopped green chilies
10) Bring to a slow boil and let simmer until the liquid has evaporated (if you want a more liquid chili — then not long simmer, adjust according to your taste)
11) before you turn off the heat — add grated cheese and chopped cilantro — Stir until cheese is melted
12) Serve on top, sprinkled with cheese and cilantro.
