Beef Roast in a pumpkin
beef, diced 1 kg
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup water
peeled and sliced potatoes 3-4 pieces.
peeled and sliced carrots 4 pcs.
chopped green pepper 1 pc.
chopped celery stalks 1-2 pcs.
4 cloves garlic, chopped
chopped onion 1 piece.
2 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
crumbled cubes of beef broth 2 tablespoons
canned tomatoes in own juice 400ml
round pumpkin 4-5 kg
more than 180 minutes 8-10 servings
1. Heat the frying pan with 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the meat until golden brown.
2. Add water, potatoes, carrots, celery, green pepper, garlic, onion, salt and pepper.
3. Cover and simmer over low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
4. Add broth and tomatoes.
5. Wash the pumpkin and cut off the top. Carefully remove the fibers and seeds inside. Put the pumpkin in a shallow baking pan. Put stew in a pumpkin and cover the tip. Coat pumpkin remaining butter.
